This table runner or dresser scarf is embroidered in a style that reminds me of Scandinavian techniques. The fact the fabric is that used for Hardanger embroidery adds to that effect. The embroidery runs across each end and along the middle of the runner. One pic shows the whole central motif. The runner is hemmed on 4 sides with a fine threadwork hem. The true color is the lighter picture. It measures 13½ x 42 inches. Old but in perfect vintage condition.
