This lovely vintage china box was made in Japan by Napco for Giftcraft. It contains two matching pin dishes or personal ash trays. The box and two dishes are hand painted with beautiful nosegays of lilies of the valley. All pieces are trimmed in gold. The box is not only painted on the lid but has the floral motif on all four sides.
The box is marked on the bottom with the Giftcraft sticker(Napco Originals by Giftcraft) and a crown with GC Japan Fine China Hand Painted IVI586. One of the dishes is also marked and one is not. The box is 4½ x 3½ x 2½ inches and each dish is 3 x 3½ inches. No chips or cracks or damage of any kind. This is really a lovely piece from a very collectable manufacturer and importer.
