The elegance of these little tea napkins comes from their sensuous fabric and simplicity. All 6 are in spotless but used condition. I don't know how old they are but they are verging on antique. They are ivory linen-silk(?) blend. They actually feel like spun silk. The hems are threadwork and each has an embroidered motif in one corner that resembles Hardanger. These are hand worked. They are 7 inches square. Perfect for dabbing the lips at an elegant tea or cocktail party.
