An elegant vintage table centerpiece, dresser scarf or great tray liner. It features beautiful Madeira whitework embroidery with punchwork floral centers, a frame of threadwork and a scalloped, satin stitched hem. The embroidery is the tight puffy style. This piece is in excellent condition. I found one pin point spot near one of the flowers. I have not attempted to treat it. I am not sure if the fabric is cotton or linen. It feels like cotton but when held to the light, the weave looks more like linen. A gorgeous piece. It would look great atop a large Victorian night stand. It may be a Victorian piece but I am not making that claim. It is 18x12 inches.
