This hand or guest towel is in mint condition. It is made of sand or tan Aida weave cotton typical of Hardanger and is embroidered in the Hardanger embroidery stitches but without the cutwork. The colors are rich brown and dark orange. The bottom edge is trimmed with two rows of very fine hand crocheted lace. All four edges are machine hemmed.
Please note the the picture showing the closeup of the lace has washed the fabric color a bit. The other pictures are more accurate. I can't estimate the age. Either fairly recent or extremely well stored. They are unused.
The towel is 12 x 22 inches. These are perfect for gift-giving whether you want one or both.
