A pair of vintage guest towels made of cotton and cross stitched and appliqued with a floral design. The towels are decorated at one end and that end is edged with a scalloped strip of yellow. This is very pale yellow and may not show as such on some monitors. The colors in the embroidery and applique are greens, some browns and a touch of tangerine.
The towels are handmade and in excellent condition. They are 13 x 21 inches.
Not really sure of their age. Certainly not later than the early 50s. Great for a powder room, especially if you have an antique washstand or a modern ceramic bowl sink,
