This antique hand or guest towel is made of huck linen. It is embroidered at one end with exquisite whitework and eyelets. Both ends are finished in scalloped embroidery. Really fine needlework.
The towel has no damage or stains. It is not as white as it probably once was. It may whiten. I have not tried. Fabric has that wonderful hand of aged linen.
It is 16 x 24 inches.
