A small to medium sized serving bowl made by Alfred Meakin in England. It is Art Deco in color and design as well as shape. The bowl is round but the rim turns it into a square shape. The pattern is sprays of nasturtins, pansies and greenery in orange, yellow, pink and green. The rim is decorated with gold.
The bowl is 7 inches in diameter and outside rim measurement is 8 inches.
Condition is very good to excellent vintage. No chips, cracks, or crazing and the bottom does not show shelf wear. The bowl has a very slight evidence of gold wear.
This pattern is called Trio I believe although the example I saw has no gold embellishment. It would display well with Raymond and Summer also.
