Great hand needlework on fine linen table mat or tray liner. The embroidery is the finest whitework you will find, more elaborate at the corners but with scattered florals spaced between. There is an angular line of thread work around the mat and around the 1 inch deep hem. Each corner has a finely worked punchwork or mosaicwork square.
It is 13 x 19 inches and spotless. The only flaw I can find is a tiny tear area in the hem area. This is really not easy to see except when you are examining the piece. You can sort of see it in the third photo at the bottom left edge.
