This silver spoon was made by SSP & C Company Ltd. a Sheffield registered silversmith. It is a coffee spoon, 5 inches long, larger than a demitasse and smaller than a teaspoon. I estimate the age to be 100 to 150 years old.
The style is an absolutely plain front with a fiddle back. Not sure of the silver content. It is probably coin silver. It has a lot of fine usage scratches but no silver wear. The marks are: 65, a stamped square that has two letters or marks over two other marks (maybe EP/AT), SSP&C CoLd, and another stamped mark in a rectangle DWTS / DOI.
