An antique table runner or dresser scarf that is made of strong ecru linen with deep threadwork hem all round. Each end has a 4 inch band of hand crocheted lace in matching ecru. The linen is 14.5 x 32 inches.
The linen part of this runner is absolutely plain so it is a great piece to use as a base for figurines, knick-knacks, centerpieces, etc. Don't know about you but I hate to cover a beautiful piece of embroidery or lace with a fruit bowl.
