Not sure if this is a hand/face towel or a tray cover. Whatever it was meant for it is very pretty and in great condition. The fabric is heavy damask woven cotton with needlepoint or petit-point stitched brown-eyed Susans in the 4 corners. The daisies are in squares of white on white needlepoint. The edge is trimmed with a narrow row of fine crocheted lace. A wonderful accessory for the tea tray or in a guest bath. Perfect vintage condition.
