An oval linen table mat (12 x 17 inches made with embroidered flower clusters at each end with a frame of spoke like embroidered bars leading to the hand crocheted lace edging that is blanket stitched to the linen.
This looks like it is in perfect condition but wax has dripped on it and you can still feel a bit of the stiffness in places. This will probably come out with further treatment. But on the upside, it doesn't show. It is a very nice mat that must be 80 plus years old.
