This little figurine is as cute as a freshly hatched sea turle taking its first swim. It is only 2.25 inches long and is made of 2 different stones. One I think is soapstone and the other is an opaque stone in a red-violet shade.
The turtle is etched with appropriate turtle markings. I believe the stone legs have been coated with something.
