This place mat for table or tray liner is a lovely piece of antique linen. It is a very light tan or ecru fine linen that has a large center of open work and embroidery surrounded by a frame of French knots with clusters of rosettes at the east and west points. The edge is hand crocheted and worked into the threadwork hem.
The piece is 10 x 16 inches and in as perfect condition as an antique can be. It has been used but carefully maintained. It is a piece you will add to your heirloom linens to be passed down.
