This lovely set of nesting or stacking boxes are hand painted with beautiful Victorian sprays of lavender-pink flowers and greenery. It is almost like fireworks the way it explodes from the center of the lids. All boxes are identical with thick black lacquer on papier mache. The base rims are also decorated with a band of the flowers. This has a very Victorian feeling to it. The largest box is 3 inches high and 4 in diameter. All three boxes are in perfect condition inside and out.
This would be a wonderful way to present a brooch, earrings or a ring. The smallest container has a capacity of 1 inch high by 1½ inches in diameter.
